No one likes to lose. And the older you get the more you realize that losing is part of life, or a part of this life anyway.
Our business has experienced what appears to be a loss. There is more that can be done, other ways to win. But winning is not always the best end result. Why? Because in everyone’s life there is a time when an important decision must be made. Am I going to try to win at all cost? Am I going to do whatever it takes to push my way to the top? Or am I worried about how I play the game.
The higher road sometime feels like the lower one as we move forward on a path that is less traveled. But in the end, a person doesn’t add up all the wins and losses and finds solace if the former outweighs the latter, what matter most is how they lived their life. Who did they help instead of step on, who did they comfort instead of criticize, who did they love instead of hate.
Winning isn’t everything. Losing isn’t the end of everything. More than just playing to win, we want to win from the way that we played.

We all need to be reminded to think about how we play our game. Thanks for expressing your thoughts so well. Mom and Dad
